First thing I did was put A Borgenson steering shaft in. . My 4X4 wandered all over the place and only had 60K when I first bought it. .

Check the brakes(the rear brakes don't do a very good job of "self" adjusting) and go over as many frame and engine bolts you can to check if they've vibrated loose. . Adjust valves...

The performance guidlines pointed out above are very helpful . .

You lucked out!. . If I'd a known then what I know now, I'd a got a 5 speed. . The auto set up in these thing is a joke for something built in 93. .

Do you like the steering shaft? How hard was the install? Price if you don't mind? My 93 is getting pretty loose with almost 150k on her :)

Glad to see you are over here now. I sent a message to muddymess for you for the dowel pin kit from Harold, he helped me get ahold of him. Good luck with your truck, there is a wealth of knowledge here, just ask and someone will jump in there and help all we can.

Love the borgeson shaft. . I tried the factory pin kit to rebuilt the stock shaft joint and it was a waist of time and money for me. . The stock shaft was too rouded out for the new pin to do much good in my case. . Got over 100K on my borgeson and it's still like new. . Can't remember what I payed for it($180 maybe?) but I've read the Piers Diesel has a good price on them...
