Used motor oil for fuel

It could be the gear oil making the smell Phil, I haven't ever tried burning it. I did try burning 4-6 quarts of used Amsoil in the tank of my '01 HO once and it hazed a light blue when rolling into the throttle even on a hot day with a fully warmed-up engine. I decided no more Amsoil in the tank after that.

Sorry for not getting back sooner... . The plans they sell is not for some beads or fuel additives... basically it is for a mini distillation still (heat used oil and condense vapors into supposedly diesel... . They condense all vapors but the proper way to get diesel specifically is to condense out only at certain temps )

but since no real specifics are given the plans (dimensions etc) the plans are somewhat useless... . you can pretty much look at "fractional distillation" in a google search and get the same general info... . Th site mentioned earlier (oil to diesel forums) is also a good FREE read..... If I could so it over I would not have bought the plans since I had the general knowledge already... . I needed specific dimensions and materials so I could build such a system not some generalities... .

Hope this sanes some people $$... .
