used turbos

I'm posting this for a friend.



He has a 91 350 and is looking for a good used turbo to replace his.



Anybody know where he can get one?

Better find out if his 350 is intercooled.



There is a difference in the intake side plumbing. The intercooled turbo intake has a V clamp bump on it. The non intercooled one only has a bump for a hose clamp. You could use a intercooled intake on a non itercooled turbo. But you loose at least 6psi of boost going this way.



You can not use a non intercooled intake housing on a intercooled turbo. The housing will not bolt down. The intake side impellors are different between the two turbo's.

I will have a complete turbo this spring setting around taking up space. Off my truck. Anyone interested please pm as it will no longer be of use to me.
