Anyway to put a line down on the bottom with "Users In Chat" on forums page ?

It's on the to do list. I've searched for something already out there for this chat room but there doesn't seem to be anything. I may need to change the chat software to have that but I'm hesitant because this one has worked out so well as far as compatibility goes.

The problem with IRC is there's no way to regulate who signs in - it's wide open. We need to limiting it to members only and to their username. We had a problem with someone masquerading as someone else. With this software I'm able to limit access. It's not perfect but it does pretty good for that.

Too limiting... I haven't been able to get in lately. I think it has something to do with MicroShafts tiff with Sun. I tried the Sun Java download and still get the chatclient didn't load error.

I'll have to get on Uncle Bill about that... . I Know where a good IRC/java compatible chat room is. (and the developer for it) I'm almost certain it is restricted to member ship. I'll ask around. Its done with the big PHP forums engine that is out there.

JPilot is the source of the code for the IRC/Java chat. Its available for download. I'll look into how easy it is to secure for my own sake if nothing else.
