Is anyone using adapters to convert the factory 8-bolt bolt pattern to a 10 bolt pattern for use with 19. 5 or larger wheels? I am thinking that this might be a cheaper alternative to Rickson wheels and would be interested in feedback from anyone who has gone this route.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am in fact wrong but I believe the Rickson 19. 5" actually have the correct bolt pattern for Dodge trucks, but they have a center cap "cover" that makes them appear to have the BIG RIG style lugs.

You are correct, the Ricksons are mounted without an adapter. I am on my second set of 19. 5's; 80,000+ miles on the first set. Joe, I live in Plano if you would like to come by and take a look.

there is someone over on the dieselpage forums that did that to his 3500 chevy. looks pretty good i think. . i can't remember the user name though. iirc, he lives in alaska.

There is a company here in Houston that manufactures the adapters to do this.

I haven't dealt with them personally, but they will be at the Vendor Day in Houston on the 8th. I plan on looking at them very closely. Possibly even get some pictures.
