Hi All! Need some guidance from guys with more experience than me. I ran my pickup on the Dynojet this weekend at Mike's in ND. Got the numbers and want to know how to use them. I took the graph that was given to me and plotted out every 100 RPM the HP and Torque. The max HP was 285 at 2900 RPM and torque was 622 lb-ft at 2300 RPM. I tow a 9000# TT. As I tow, is it best to keep the RPM in the 2300 RPM range by adjusting speed and gear selection while towing? Using the HP number at 2900 RPM seems a little too steep for fuel mileage. I usually tow at 65 to 70 on the Interstates and the RPM will hang around 1900 to 2100 RPM. I guess the short of what I am asking is, is there a meaning to the Dyno numbers that I can translate to towing or are they just what they are, gee whiz numbers so I know what my engine is doing power wise and when. Thanks in advance. Dave
