Pet peeve.............

I live in a fringe area and get poor AM/FM reception. I have a medium size TV antenna, not in use, that I could use to improve reception. Will this help? Or is it a waste of time? Anything special I need to do to hook it up?

The antenna I use now is a small loop for AM and a 3' wire for FM, both plugged in to the back of the receiver.

Radio Shack used to sell a tunable AM loop antenna that I can testify works very well. I say "used to sell" because I can't find it on their website. The model number is 15-1853 . It is a clone of the Terk brand antenna at a fraction of the price. Check your local store to see if they have any left. If they don't, they will call their other stores in the area.
