the truck is out of warranty due to being in service over 5 years, so I really want to make this thing bulletproof. I will order guages tomorrow and probably a Glacier or Airdog (depending on price and pros/cons). Since the truck is still nearly new, but warrantee-less, I want to get it set up properly for reliability ASAP, then look at adding Mach 1s or an EZ in the near future. Thanks for any opinions!

I would check the fuel pressure 1st, then install your gauges, get a vulcan relocation kit and move the pump, 4" exhaust, BHAF/ AFE, I have the mach 1. 5's and love them, somewhere in there change the fluids to synthetic with the exception of the engine. NJOY the truck

check out my signature and you'll be pretty close to bullet proof and fairly economical performance without a box. the last thing to add would be a Smarty. If it is an automatic, you'll want to have some goodies added to it as well. Congratulations on your acquisition.

My warranty book sais 5 year 100,000 after the 3/36. I bet yours does too.

02 vp 44s have been dieing between 45 and 50 thousand.

Installing a quality fuel system will save you alot of agrevation

Nice setup GCULP. Well balanced out, simple & sweet. Prolly runs great. And, smooth without timing hammer. ;)
