Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting Utah ccw

Anyone here have a Utah ccw permit?



My gun club is sponsoring a class to obtain a Utah ccw because it is supposed to be valid in a large number of states, including Florida if some extra paperwork is done.



I'm just wondering if it is worth the cost ($65 for the class if you're a member)?

Where do you know it to be honored?

Straight from the horses mouth make sure to notice it states that some of the states require you to be a resident of Utah while others do not though it doesnt appear to come right out and say which states those are. I know in Colorado where I am they recognize the Utah permit with a formal reciprocity agreement but you must be a resident of Utah for it to be recognized. It also shows which states Utah has a formal reciprocity agreement with and another list of those that recognize it but dont have a formal agreement.
