Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VA for a y2k ISB....

A friend of mine with a y2k ISB called me yesterday and said that he could get a used VA kinda cheap...



The only catch is that the MAP sensor connector won't fit his truck's MAP sensor.



Gimme the skinny on what will happen if he does not connect the MAP sensor.



My thoughts are that he'll set a code for overboost... . which isn't the end of the world.



Advice? Thoughts? Suggestions?

The best advise I can give you is to mail it to me, and I will have all the problems worked out for you within a year or two. . It should fit my truck nicely.

You might could try this.....



Call edge and tell them you got an older EZ, and need the fitting for a y2k, and see if you could buy it.

The general consensus is that the box will make the truck go into limp mode..... not good.



I'll tell the guy to pony up the cash for a new box... . darn cheap guys!
