Do a search on the pump. You will find the Cummins numbers. I think they are down to $100. They a POS part and not rebuildable. I went through 4 before I switched to a PAC brake.
A friend just called me yesterday to ask the same question. His Dodge dealer in Springfield, MO quoted him a price of over $750!!!! for a new one. I sent him to a Cummins dealer and he found one for about $175.
The first one on my 2006 failed at about 65,000 miles but the replacement was still working fine at 230,000 when I sold the truck.
Does anybody have the cummins pn for the whole brake assembly... . is in for a new install? I'd like to compare the Cummins price with other brakes I'm looking at.
Heard there is a new thicker air filter from dodge for the 5. 9l (mine is 2006). Heard that there has been a problem with the original filter not being effective enough. Anyone hear something similar?
