Well I'm working on my truck, been at it for about an hour. About have the pump off, but I think the dowel pin is stuck or something. Came in to eat some lunch.

I got the kit from Cummins, was just under $8. Well see how that works. A pain in the butt for a couple $$s of seals!

Got it done about an hour ago. 7hrs including cleaning the vac pump, p/s pump, (was like 1/2 of oily dirt on them!), cleanup and lunch, not too bad considering it was the first time. When the truck was parked got to 108* today, so I was doing some sweating!

What messed be up is there's a little bracket that holds the p/s to the engine block. Well the nut was half off so I could pull the assembly out some, but I couldn't figure out what was holding it back. I unbolts the wiring harness, etc thinking that's what it was. Figured it out after I looked at the instructions :D

Stock seal was single lip. The seal with the kit is a double lip.

Overall, not hard to do. Just in a tight area and some of the bolts were tight! I'm not sure why people are charging $20-50 for this kit when it's under $8 from Cummins.
