5th wheel with truck box??????

Is there a fuse in the Jordan /Dodge install

This is the first vacation with the truck camper. Normally I had a tool box full of tools and spares, but with the camper the tool box is gone.

What do you think would be a minimum of tools and spares to carry seeing as space is limited.

Thanks!

Not sure how much space you have for things, but I'd take a spare fuel filter, maybe a serp belt (depending where you're going), the tools to change both items, a trusty Leatherman and of course... your TDR Travel Companion :D That would be a start for me... .

I carry these items with me all the time, cell phone, credit cards and the most important of all my TDR Travel Companion Book just in case. :)

I hate packing for camping/taking trips because honestly I could pack the entire contents of my house and garage and the 1 thing I would need... I didn't bring :-laf

I am actually packing right now for, leaving tomorrow night. Came in for a break.

Usually I bring my toolbag when I go camping/bring the Jeep. In the toolbag, I put the most commonly used stuff. a few screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, sockets, wrenches, etc. Sometimes I will bring my air tools as well, depending on how far out in the woods I'll be.

No Glock but Mr Ruger is invited ;)

I think I will go to Sears and if they have a tool set with basic stuff, metric and SAE that will fit on the back seat floor.

Yea, I used to take about 200 pounds of tools and never used them. I'm towing the MC trailer so could some in there. Wonder if my full size chest tool box will fit... If I leave the MC I can take the gasoline air compressor :-laf

Always struggle with that when we go to sand dunes... take extra jack, a shovel & air pump to get un-stuck :-laf , basic handtools, voltmeter, zipties and tape and assorted nuts/bolts usually enough to fix all the crap that breaks in the camper or the quads or the trailer or the boat and so on. .

have fun!

Depends on what I'm doing. For on the road: 1 gallon oil/filter, fuel filter, toolkit with metric/SAE sockets and wrenchs (Craftsman Mechanics set), Voltmeter, strapwrench, #10 All 16s (Cresent wrench), and pipewrench. For camping and running the country trails throw in a shovel, axe, rake, and maybe small ladder. I also have a 7-gallon air tank I take as well. Ya never know.
