I replaced my fuel lines and found I disturbed the vacuum lines going to my transfer case. I am looking for a schematic for the vacuum lines. Does anyone have them to post? I cannot find where a check valve is supposed to go.
I have a 96 2500 4X4 extended cab auto.

VPR,
Will look thru the shop manual to see if I can find any info. Looking at index schematic for emissions vacuum only.
Tommorow I crawl under truck and take a look at the line at transfer case. But won't be on the site until Saturday night.

VPR,
I take it you disturbed them on the top of the engine compartment. Looked under truck tonight noting to disturb underneath.

So your must be by the brake booster and fuel filter. The line going to the transfer case didn't look like it had any check valve.
But I read the power booster has a check valve but I thought that the line coming out of vacuum pump had check valve also.
The check valve on the booster is on the exterior right where the big vacuum hose attaches. The vacuum line coming from transfer case is a larger diameter than the line(continuatation of transfer case line) that hooks up to connector on other side of booster(engine side). It is or felt like a one line connection. Did find small diagram in manual but didn't give info where(they were going) and why the lines were hooking up into connectors.
