I am looking for a vacuum line schematic or a good description of vacuum line connections on the left side of the motor leading up to the firewall. I was doing a fuel filter change and accidently disconnected these small poly lines that connect up to a rubber harness at the top of the firewall. Before I knew it everything was disconnected and I didin't see how. I know one line has vacuum on it that comes right off the pump. The other line didn't have anything on it. I looked in the factory tech manual but couldn't find a schematic. I believe it may feed heat/AC controls? Any help would be great.

not sure but I think they split there and one goes to the A/C controls on the dash, another goes to the top of the transfer case to control the front axle. There maybe others but that all that have messed up on my 95 to dated

Looked at my truck but it is 96(has vacuum operated brake booster). I will give you size of hoses and connectors. The first connector will not apply to your truck.

Big line comming of vacuum pump connects to a T connector. On the oppisite side of T connector the big line goes to booster.

On the bottom side of T connector a small line goes to a one piece double T connector (TT) it connects to bottom right side of connector, the other bottom connector is plugged.

One end points to left fender on that end a small line connects to a med line which continues on to what believe is rwal module on inside fender wheel well.

On the opposite end a med line goes toward engine and connects to end T connector. On the opposite end of T connector a med/small line which continues on to passenger side of firewall.

A med line connects to the bottom L shaped connector on the opposite end of L connector, a small line goes thru engine bracket and heads downward I believe to the transfer case.

Always when taking things apart (especially with multiple connections) use a note book pad and write down what goes where.

Yours is a 97, booster is operated with power steering fluid so your vacuum lines mite be set up different.

One thing that connects in that area is the vac line that works the cruise control. The bellows is under the drivers side battery and the hose routes up the fender to the firewall and then across to the T connector others have mentioned.

My '97 has only 2 vacuum lines on the left side going from the firewall to the motor. One line goes to the cruise control, the other goes to the left side of the motor, almost where the oil fill tube ends. Hope this helps, John
