Vacuum/Power steering buzz

2006, auto, 4x4 Laramie Diesel. Recent buzzing sound from brake pedal and/or power steering at slow speeds. No leaks and PS fluid is at correct level. Any ideas of what I should look for or anyone have/has had a smiliar problem. 50,000 miles on truck.

Scott, I have a similar noise comming from my truck. 2006 auto 4x4 slt 48000 mi. Seems to be coming from behind the dash. The noise is more noticable in cold weather-below freezing, before truck has warmed up. When raising the hood while idling, I can hear the noise at the front of the engine. I've used a stethescope and checked all rotating hardware but can't seem to isolate the noise. Sound similar to yours? Randy DeBaillie

No, mine was p. s. fluid. It was low, creating air suction noise/buzzing. Took about a week to get air out of system once it was filled.
