2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Vacuum pump leak

Has anyone been able to locate the replacement oil seal for the leaky vacuum pump on an 2001? Very simple to fix but I can't find anyone to cross that # on the old seal. E-mailed the company and they're clueless. They don't sell any replacement parts. It lasted 110,000 miles so I'm not too disappointed. I did find a used one at a wrecking yard so it's back on the road again with no leaks. If I can put a seal in the original then I'll have spare on the shelf.

Do a search for CPFF- he has the seals & the o-rings you need.

I used a TCM oil seal... part #: 28X38X7TC... think I got it at Bearings Inc. I should have an extra laying around, so if you can't find one pm me...



Leak-free for 8k now.



If they can't cross-ref. the part number for you maybe they can just do it by dimensions:



28mm ID

38mm OD

7mm thick?

If I recall correctly the original seal was a double lipped Viton.
