Well last week started seeing oil spots in the drive way, thought it may be a warranty problem however it seems to be the vacuum pump. I am taking the truck into a private shop monday and I hope the mechanic will consider a rebuild and not a replacement, however I need the truck ASAP so what will be will be. Sent a PM to CPFF about the seals and bearing so will see what happens. Jack.

I have a 99 ram ISB and at about 33000 mi. I had the same problem. what I found at least on mine, is when I would turn the wheel all the way to lock it would leak a little ,but if I did not go to lock it would not leak. I believe the added force to the pump causes a leak at the O ring. I had a Ford that did the same thing. You might give it a try, Just dont turn so short if you dont have to.
