Don't get on here much, but anytime I have a problem, I always know where to go first!

I've been leaking oil for the past few months, so busy that I haven't had a chance to fix it right, but now I've got some time to do that. It looks like it's the vacuum pump seal that's leaking, so I'm thinking I should pick up a reseal kit. Anybody know what the Cummins part number is for that ('01. 5 ETH in case that matters)? I saw the one on fixinrams.com, but saw another post that Cummins sells it for $10 or so. I don't think I need the DVD

Also, would this be covered under warranty? I've got about a month or so left on the 5-yr/100k engine warranty.

Thanks.

The leak is NOT covered by the Cummins warranty.

I got the kit from FIXIN RAMS. The kit has the seal, install tools and a video.

WORD OF ADVICE: If you do it yourself- make sure you put the "cog gear" (the one with the 'X' slot) back in place before installing the retainer bushing!

I forgot this step and had to make an extractor- this advice will make sense if you've done it or when you see the video.
