I was just searching some previous threads about the valet switch. Just wondering where it goes in the system and if there are any kits available.

Got mine from PDR, but it is made by pacbrake. It's just a solenoid that goes in between the line that runs from the head to the back of the AFC. It cuts the boost going to the AFC resulting in less power. It works great for towing.

It would cut the air and the AFC would then give little fuel cuz it senses no boost.

Not sure how it would be good for towing, but then I don't tow much and have no afc.

I don't need to worry about a valet switch. No stinkin' valet (or anyone else for that matter) drives my truck. Hell the wife has only drivin' it about three times in 5 years. That's the way I like it.

It works good for towing because it cuts my hp and my egt's don't get as hot when I'm hauling heavy. Also, the low hp is easier on the drivetrain. Oo.
