Hey these sound like a great idea!

I just can't seem to part with 100. 00 for a 12 solenoid.

I looked all over for a picture of one of these kit's but I have come up empty handed.

What do these Kits include for 100 bucks?

I would like to find a source for a solenoid maybe I can find one at the pick a part down the street?

thanks

Not to prirate your post Bob but I've always been curious how a valet switch works, and how it is installed?

After I get my #10 and injectors in I may have to have one if I allow certain people to drive my truck:rolleyes:

Notice I said IF

The valet switch simply blocks the boost signal from getting to the afc preventing increased fueling. This can be done with a solenoid or a manual valve

I got mine on a week ago and really like it, I swapped the lines on the solenoid so when the switch light its on it's in RUN mode, it takes a little getting use to as you will hammer it and wonder(were is the power) then it will dawn on you that your in valet mode, On mine in valet mode it runs 50 PSI boost and 1100 EGT. If you have a real pump these are almost mandatory!
