Valve adjust on 3rd Gen...

Anyone adjusted their valves on a 3rd gen just for fun??? With all the other misc. factory "goofs" I'm just kinda curious if anyone has done this. After replacing a headgasket on my '01 I noticed an improvemet in 65+mph fuel economy that I could only attribute to the resetting of the valves. Just curious...

Yep, I did mine but it ended up just being a clearance check because they were all fine. I wanted to go in there and make sure the injectors were tight too with all the talk here of loose injectors and possible valve lash issues.



It's peace of mind cuz now I don't need to get in there for a long time.
