Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Valve adjust

I've done several searches and have not seen this addressed. When adjusting the valves, will I need a crows foot to torque the nut down while I hold the stem w/ the screwdriver? And if so , which size c/f do I need?

I don't think you need a crows foot. I just use a box end wrench.

I just feel somewhere between sloppy loose and stripped threads. Seriously, torque a couple nuts and then check with your box end how much it takes to turn them. you will get the feel of it.
