what is the best adjustment #s on my 02 ctd ho intake and exhaust. I know everyone has diffrent numbers . Just looking for best performance . Has 80,000 on it with ez and exhaust thanks andy

Not an incredible performance gain there. . 010 and . 020 are SET specs, so if you diviate from that the check them more often to make shure youre still in safe adjustment. On the 24v's the intke can run from . 005" to . 015". Exh. go from . 015 to . 025. I set the intakes around . 007 or 8, and exh usualy aroun . 018 or 19. I have played with this a bit, and found tighter exh valves only result in louder exhaust (sharper sound) and hotter EGT. A little squeeze on the intakes have yielded an extra pound or two of boost psi, no real seat of the pants felt improvement, but perhaps quicker spool up and a few HP.

Set the valves at the . 010/. 020 sock Set Point unless you like to tinker and have your valve cover off much more than neccesary. The tighter settings may be in the "check" specs, but tighter valves wear faster usualy, plus it reduces the . 005 wear range to only 2 or 3 thousandths.
