Valve Adjustment

Hi, guys and gals I have a 2012 6.7 with 104,000 miles on her,I have heard people talk about valve adjustments at 100,000.When to a Cummings Shop today and he said Due at 150,000.Everybody know for sure what the mileage date is, Thx,Terry.

There is not much to adjust, I've never had an Engine before that had such a wide adjustment band.
To get out of that Band there really must be a technical issue.

When i checked mine at around 150K they were all in spec but all different.
There was no need for adjustment but i did it anyway.

It’s always good to monitor. Any move out of spec could mean tappet wear or seat recession, or similar. Thankfully the B is a high quality engine.
