I want to bite into a BD valve body and maghytech pan (maybe a Derale, with cooling toobes,oooohh yaa)to ward off future bomb gremlins.



Really though. fresh ATF, new pan that assists in the exchange of heat.



\And while I'm there, R&R the valve body with one from ATS, BD, or whoever?

How hard is the valve body part

Ive never ran one but I have a BD VB in my garage right now if your interested. Ive ran suncoast's VB+TC and it rocks. BD, ATS, DTT,SC they are all reputable companies so just call around and go with whatever you feel most comforatble with(and ask them about just a VB change VS. a TC and VB change). As for changing it out its a piece of cake, 11 or 12 bolts and the shift linkage connection via a c-clip and just keep the parking sprags lined up and put all together and you might have to put a resistor in up by the firewall in your wireing and your done.
