I am noticing oil at the base of my valve covers and was wondering if I should replace the gaskets beneath the covers or is there an additional O-ring beneath the bolt that needs to get swapped out as well.

Pat, I replaced all of the valve cover gaskets when I adjusted my valves and had no leaks. Maybe it's time to replace yours. My old ones wern't leaking either so I saved them.

CoastyAV8R, after running the valves on little bro's 91 1/2 the other day, we replaced the O rings under the bolt heads only, stopping all seepage. Bought the O rings at Napa. Just carry one of the old ones and match. BTW he still has stock base gaskets.
