It covers the crankcase breather filter and it just looks purdy. :D

Yep. No more drippy draft tubes on the '03's. We have entered the next phase of the Emissions Zone.



At least the crankcase smell stays mostly out of the cab. :rolleyes:

where do the crankcase vapours vent to? are they burned off by the engine? or are they just vented through a filter into the atmosphere?
 
Through a steel tube, down the left side of the engine and into the cab. :D Just kidding, but I suspect that is where the smell comes from at times. It vents to the atmosphere.

There is a small tube going up to the box on the top then there is a bigger one going from that back down the side to be a road draft tube. get under and look on the left side of the block and you will see the tube
