Valvoline/Cummins Injector Cleaner Confusion

Two questions:



1. The quart bottle Cummins #3164981 says it treats up to 45 gallons. The two quart bottle Cummins #3164982 says it treats up to 250 gallons. Ninety vs. 250 is quite a difference. The front labels have identical copy and appear to be the same product except for the container size. Anyone have an explanation?



2. How often do you use it? At oil changes as indicated on the label or the recommended quantity all the time?

Jim, my quart bottle(32oz), of 3164982, says it treats up to 250 gal. I wish they had a better way to measure the amount. Black bottle and you cant see through it. You need a measuring cup. I also find it hard to believe that it will keep your VP44 lubricated if you only put it in every 5000 to 7000 miles.
