One of these Valvoline places just opened up in our town.

Pull into the bay, tell the attendant what you want, they do it, you pay, you pull away.

If you need top-offs in between changes, they're free. At an appropriate time, they'll mail reminders that you may be due (they predict based on 6,000 miles for Dodge Cummins diesels).

They'll deduct the cost of their cheapy filter and use yours if you want. You can hop in the back end of the pit if you want to watch the change and lube. They'll draw the sample for your oil-analysis submission if you want, and they grease the beast.

Ours has Premium Blue (my choice) and Premium Blue 2000.

I do maintenance, but sometimes I just get lazy and this is one thing I'd just as soon watch as do, given the price and the bother of taking the old oil somewhere.

Anybody else use Valvoline stuff and have any good/bad experiences with these folks that I should know about so I can watch 'em?
