Hi All,

There's a Van Aaken CPC and a Practical Solutions Boost Module and elbow for sale in the classifieds. If you do a search for "Aaken" or "3348" you should find it.

As many people here who tow will attest, the VA makes a great addition. If you add a set of Injectors, the VA setup is really great with power that you can use without sending your EGT's through the roof. The Boost module plugs in to the MAP sensor so that you can get boost above 20 PSI without the computer defueling the engine. The Boost elbow allows additional boost by bleeding off some of the air pressure that would normally close the wastegate.

The VA fits a 98. 5 or 99. I'm moving up to a DTT transmission and a Power Edge Comp.

Anyone out there that's done something similar to know how much difference I will notice between the VA combination and the Comp ?

I did a Dyno run on a Superflow Dyno with the Van Aaken on and then did a second run with it off.

With my truck's setup and the VA, I had 254 peak RWHP

Without the VA, I had 203 peak RWHP

Than shows a difference of 51 HP from the VA.

I believe the VA is re-branded and sold by Bully Dog also. If you're interested in a plug and play setup much like an Edge EZ that fits a '98. 5 or '99, let me know.
