I am trying a van aaken right now aftre doing my injectors. it works great but at part throttle or at cruise speed with the convertor locked up the truck starts to surge and sometimes gets pretty bad untill I give it more or get out of it. Im not sure which one it is, it plugs into the pump. from hwat I hear its pretty normal, anyone else with this?

I've been fighting something similar for a number of years and can't tell if it's my VA box or something else. I don't have any answers just ?'s too. My 'surge' (it's more like if a gasser motor had a single fouling plug) and is only prominent when I'm going downhill with slight gas pedal enough to keep the T/C locked up but not enough pedal to accelerate. I've taken the VA box on and off so many times I'm starting to worry about damaging the wired plug going into the pump. This is my second VA box with the same problems. I also have a Smarty and with it on setting other than stock and the VA box uninstalled the surge is greatly reduced if not completely eliminated (hard to tell if there is a very very slight surging). I've been trying to eliminate other things that may cause this (I might upgrade to some different injectors soon) but I'm stumped at present. This all started for me when I upgraded to a DTT valve body but I can't believe it could be that.
