my buddy lent me his vA fuel box from his 01 ho 3500 today to try out for a while. . i plugged the box in and drove for a while feeling out the power and response. later that day i noticed on the box the plate was stamped: 98. 5 and up / 215-235hp obviously my truck was factory with 245. is this not the right box and will this box hurt my VP or truck? im not running gauges so i cant monitor the egt but the truck runs sweet and has way better low end and throttle response. should i pull the box or will it not hurt my rig?

Per BD, this won't hurt anything. The box is not optimally tuned to your engine, but will work. I sold a 235hp VA to a friend with a 245hp HO 4 years ago and he hasn't had any problems with it.

thanks man, thats kind of what i figured. ill leave it in till he wants it back. in the mean time iim gonna find some guages.....

AWeik,

What you have is the CPC box. I've been running one for about 5 years now without any problems. If you add some 275hp injectors and a boost module it will really wake up the engine.
