Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Van Aken Box

I have an older Van Aken box that plugs into the back of the pump using stock connectors. There aren't any other connections from the box going to the truck. I'm looking for any information on whether I can install a switch to turn the box off for cold weather starts. The extra fuel this box delivers can make a cold weather start interesting . I've heard the new Van Aken box has a remote function or switch to turn the box off. Can I get any info on whether this can be done with my older box???
