Variable Steering

Tried to trade this weekend. Nobody wants a truck with 100k. Sure did like the variable assist power steering on the 2001. Can you retro to 3/4 ton 99 or is there a better, cheaper one on the market.

Are you kidding? I haven't bought one without 100K miles. No warranty to worry about. What year is yours? You might have better luck selling it outright. I know of two guys in Houston looking for a 3/4 ton.



Just re-read your post. I know of one guy looking for a 3/4 then. The other insists on a 12 valver. He's kinda picky

It is a 99 Driftwood 5 speed 3/4 ton. It also has a massive front bumper, louvered tailgate and nerf bar steps. I would sure like to replace the steering with the variable one on the 2001 I drove.
