VE core price?

Whats the going rate for a VE from a junkyard (haha yeah right a 5. 9 core in the junkyard)? And what is the core charge on a rebuild? Reason is, I can get a 'good running' VE from a 93 with 300k miles on it, plus all fuel injection and return lines for $200. Good deal?

I just called PDR on the costs of a rebuild... . either stock or performance... it was like 800 and 1200.



I'd love to tear into mine but fear keeps me from doing it without a good core to turn to.
