VE hydraulic head reseal method

I found this interesting reseal method surfing ebay. He installs the hyd. head o-ring seal without removing it completely!

My pump was leaking from that seal this past winter when it was ugly cold here, since the temperature changes it has stopped... For now.

I replaced the front seal on a rabbit diesel many years ago like that. Nothing new on the front seal. They were notorious leakers and when they did, the engine would crank a lot to start... . probably because they had no lift pump and needed that seal to get fuel.
