VE Pump drive gear

Does anyone know if Cummins ever issued a revised pump gear for the VE input shaft? Seems like I remember reading about this long ago. From what I recall the original design may have had some issues with cracking in certain applications. I'm going to be pulling my front cover off and removing my VE as well so I wanted to clarify this before re-assembly. Thanks.

I checked the p/n from an 89 engine and it changes up 5 times. The new style gear has rounded triangle shaped holes in it instead of round. From the Cummins TSB "The center hub on Part Number 4932713 has been extended 3 mm to allow the gear to contact the driveshaft away from the machined keyway. The web holes on the new fuel pump gear have been changed to help distinguish between the old and the new gear." David
