Veggie oil newbie here

I've read a little about biodiesel and WVO but pretty much know nothing about it. I was reading about a guy once that filled his diesel tank 80 percent diesel and got used veggie oil then filtered it good and poured it straight in to the tank mixing with the diesel. Is this possible or is there more to it?

There are people who have done what you heard. They are putting an unknown QUALITY oil in an expensive injection pump. Is that smart????



The only way to use this oil as a fuel is to run it thru a process called 'transesterfication. '

This removes the free fatty acids andwater, seperating them out. It ends up much better filtered too.

Oh lord what are people doing to our beautiful engines... . Ahhhhh!

I can't believe what people are putting in their tanks, these days. I guess it's the same with their bodies... . anything goes.



Sorry man, I'm 1000% with FOX on this! If you like your vehicle and want it to run long and reliable, use only REAL BIODIESEL. Snake oil additives and converting an engine to run straight WVO is not the answer! (My opinion)
