I sometimes think back and wonder how I ever let one car or the other get away. Anyone else ever do the same? My first car was 1961 Chevrolet SS 409 4 spd. Impala, I now know that fewer than 200 were made. A local drag racer bought it new, I paid $500 for it with a 327 engine in 1969 when I was 18 yrs. old, sold it for $500. a year later. Shouda kept it.

1961 VW sedan
1965 VW sedan
VW mud bug (mixed vintage)with bus transaxel, 12"dropped front spindles, 18" ground clearance with steel paddle wheels.
That's all that come to mind now, only the Toy, Dynasty and the 3500 Cummins truck truck were bought new, the rest at about the 10yr. old mark, when you do that, you turn lots of wrenchs. I used to think that was fun, now it's a chore. Except on the truck-truck, it's still fun.
Anyone else wanna go back and keep one or two?
Almost forgot the current project,
