Remove sensor link

I was talking to one of the tech reps and go the following reply from my question about the load sensor on the rear axle for breaking.

" The link sensor has to be disconnected.

And it's recommended that the dealer disconnect it.

The link sensor adjust the amount of pressure distributed to each rear wheel.

The Velvet-ride lowers the vehicle and makes the suspension softer so the sensor get a false reading and could distribute the breaking unevenly.

I just installed a set of Velvet Rides last night, and, unloaded, the ride height is exactly what it was before. In fact, I could still slide the old shackles over the bolts that protrude from the VRs. It may lower the rear of the truck a tad under some load, but it will be minimal, probably not more than 1/2". I have a call in to see if longer arms are available so that I can level the truck a bit.
