One of the annoying problems on my 04 std. cab was forgetting to roll the windows all the way up before a rain storm. This resulted in the door pockets getting water in them. I installed Vent Shades by Lund to remedy this. In hot weather it is practicle to leave ones windows cracked for ventilation. The recent addition of these vent shades enable the windows to be left down about an inch or so. With the heavy rains and wind that we have had in the Bay Area here this week I was happy to see that these indeed work. With both windows down about an inch, no problem of leakage occured. I highly recommend these to be a solution to this problem. Wheras these new style cabs seem to be of good design, this is one weakness that has been found.

PUTCO Chrome VentVisors are the way to go !

I have the PUTCO in channel versions in the Blue Bus. Cracking the windows, sunroof, and power sliding rear window really make a difference in the amount of time required to cool down a MegaCab.

If the forecast is uncertain, I'll do as CPG does... ... . I'll just crack the windows a little, leaving the sunroof and rear slider closed. The difference is very noticeable; the chrome is a nice touch in my opinion.
