vent visor brand recommendations

Looking to buy the ventvisor for the windows, does anyone have recommendations on brand. I do have factory 2002 tow mirrors.

I highly recommend the ones found at www.weathertech.com They are very nice, precision machined, and fit in the window channel. Made in Germany. I have them on my truck, and I bought a pair for my brother also. You can get them in light or dark tint, and they go all the way down in front of the mirror.

Stay away from all the one's that use 3M tape..... they're junk !!!! These are top of the line... ..... They have awesome molded floor liners also, I just bought the full set for my new 2006 I just got in December... . They are made to hook into the little platsic peg that keeps them from sliding around ... ... . Their products are top of the line... ..... new truck owners looking for these 2 items, ..... and a bunch of others will not be disappointed. +++++++++++++++++++++ Hope this helpsOo. Oo. Oo.

I got the light tinted ones, and they look really nice. I think the dark tinted ones create too much of a blind spot on the front edge of window where it comes down in front of mirror... . they are really dark. I too have a silver 2006, and have to order a set. They are for all 4 doors on the new quad cabs, and mega cabs. I will be ordering the light tint... ..... I jut ordered other goodies from Geno's, and DPP, so thought I'd wait till next month.

If you haven't gotten floor liners yet, I would definitely get the molded ones from WeatherTech ... . light gray, matches perfect, and great design.

RRees, At the Weathertech website, click on "window deflectors", then fill in "truck info", under "shop by vehicle", and go from there. It will show pictures. There is a light tint,... . and a dark tint that looks almost black... ... I personally think it is way too dark. The light looks really good !!!!!You'd be extremely happy!!!

Thanks for the quick response. I have a road trip to Arizona in a couple of weeks. Spring break for one of my boys. Heading down to visit stepdad.

Figured it might be warm down there (usually is), this way I can crack the windows to get rid of some heat while parked at my stepdad's house.

thanks for the information. it says the rear window vent mounts to the window with 3m tape. That doesnt make sense since the rear window on a quad cab pop out. I will definately be buying a set for the front.

I'm sorry I wasn't more specific, I started rambling on about my 2006, that I need to order the window deflectors for. They come in sets of 4 for the new Quads and Mega's, all fit in window channel. For my 2002 I got the light tint deflectors for the front only, as like you said the windows in back tilt out at an angle ..... Get the fronts only, you'll be happy!!! Sorry for the confusion

on mine (quad cab), the fronts and back fit into the channel, plus they have some adhesive to hold it against the rubber in the channel

They are nice aren't they ?? I have husky floorliners in my 2002, but I got the Weathertec floor liners for my 06'... . they are awesome. you can get them in black, grey, or beige. Oo.

Congrats !!!!! on the goodies !!! I still need to order the vent visor window deflectors,... . maybe this next week !! I thought I would get the floor liners first since it's all snowy and sloppy out right now,... and I just ordered some stuff from Geno's, that I wanted to pay off first. How do you like the floor liners,??I think they are very nice, designed well with the high sides and draining to the door edge. And also the little notch to keep the driver side mat in place !!!
