Competition Verily Very Interesting

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition cp3 pumps are out

Competition Force runs a 4.66 w/a 4

Looks like there might be something intersting going on in North Texas. The small turbo in the picture in an HY9(for comparsion to the huge soon-to-be twins to its left).

I have heard that the truck's name will be Abby. Let the speculation begin!

Had to bring this one back around.

Here is a pic of the first charger sitting next to a Ceramic coated Big Brother.

This turbo is a beast.

says the man w/ 14. 9:1 compression and an H2E

You betcha ;)

Most H2E's have 66 mm compressor inducer wheels, mine will have a 72. 5 mm; the exhaust side not too small either. Should spool better than a Hy9

The low compression is not bad at all... rpm come up really quickly and power feels great. If I keep it plugged-in at night, it starts fairly easy. If you try to start it cold (with ether of course), some pretty crazy sounds and white smoke result. I like the smoke rings

LOL! @ the HY9 comment ;)

saw the pics of the truck starting up... need cold start videos please

Hey now. Quit pickin on me.

In my oppinion everybody needs a back-halfed 14-point caged half-ton cummins to drive around. :D :D :D

And YES its a street truck.

Listen this is MY idea of border line street.

Interior

Corbeau FX-1 Pro seats

Corbeau 5 point harnesses

Complete dash with full auto-meter analog guages (no more factory guages)

All interior plastics remain

New carpet

Custom full length center console (removeable with a little work)

Grant quick-release steering hub ;) (Officer I swear I thought removable steering wheels were legal)

Grant 1182 steering wheel (has two thumb buttons that were horns and now control ?? :D

B&M Pro Ratchet shifter

And of course a cozy little chrome moly cage

Wes

And yes the A/C and heat still work. So does the stereo. After all it is a street truck. ;)

The hitch thing didn't work out. The gooseneck's weight didn't get along very well with my z-rated tires. Much less get along with those 31" mickey thompsons.

Finding z-rated tires tall enough for the standing 1 mile race I'm going to run is little tough. And pricey as hell. :{ . We plan on being well over 150mph and Mickey Thompsons at 150 plus are not fun.

Anybody know anybody with a SRT-10 Ram that wants rid of their factory wheels and tires. They're 31. 5" tall and Z-rated. Perfect for high speed sprints.

The good thing about the little truck is that I still have the 5x5. 5 bolt pattern in the front so any half ton Dodge wheel will bolt right up. Oo.

In the back I have 5x5 (5/8 stud). The same as Pro-Stock guys run. But I've got some bad boy 5x5. 5 adapters so that I can run a set of Dodge half ton bolt pattern wheels. Maybe keep the dollars down a little. This way I'm not mixing and matching for street use.

Then for the drag strip off come the adapters and on go the Weld Alumnastar 2. 0 drag wheels with the Mickeys.

Man is this getting crazy or what.

Wes

Sounds like that will make a mean tow rig... so are you ever going to build something geared a little more toward a "street/strip toy"? :-laf
