I have been searching high and low for a 1998 Quad Cab 12V 5 speed just to keep around to move trailers. I got called on one tonight that is PERFECT... ... ... . except, I can't use a short bed. This truck has never even hauled anything... ... ... ... ..... it does'nt even know it's a truck! Someone looking for a shorty it is ebay#4568312988.

Disclaimer: This is not my truck nor do I have any interest in it in any manner. If it were a long bed I would have already bought it. This is merely an announcement to the TDR members of a very rare truck.

Hey Barry . . good to see ya on...

I have lost your e-mail. . send me a e-mail so I can put it back in my addy book . . missed send ya some business and some questions from prospective buyer .

is your store still open ?? nothing on the store site.

Get ahold of HoleShotHolset, Matt has a '98 quad 12V manual 4x4, long box that he may get rid of. He is in WI, but he may just let it go... ... just trying to help.

One of my neighbors was selling his 97 4x4 long bed auto.

If youre interested, e mail me.

Eric

PS I think he wanted 14,500K

It has under 70K miles, and a new factory trans.

I have a '98 short bed, 5 speed 4x4 and there hasn't been a trailer yet that I hooked to that I couldn't pull around. I'll likely get the longbed next time just for the added bed space, which I'll likely fill with a toolbox/fuel tank anyway.

The truck that I posted about is the kind of truck that I am looking for EXCEPT in a long bed. I have 2 2002 2500 QCs in stock now, one is an auto the other is a 6 speed. Just something to get me by. Whichever one sells first, I'll keep the other until I find what I am looking for.

The biggest problem is finding a preowned truck that has not been run to death. When you begin to start counting years from 97 and 98, good clean units with decent miles are becoming scarce. I let a 97 2500 5 speed one owner truck slip away last year and I have been kicking myself ever since!

I pretty much am now into just diesel pushers buy sometimes buy a trailer or 2 if the money is right. I just no longer need a $40K truck sitting in the warehouse not earning it's keep... ... ... ... ... ... . :(

The truck that is my signature truck I sold about a month ago and have been in withdrawals ever since!
