Archived Very weird howling noise...HELP!!!

hope someone can help me. . I have an 04 QC 4x4 Dually with an edge box, afe intake and torque tube and 4" MBRP exhaust from the turbo back. When i floored it before, the normal turbo whine changed to a loud howling noise at about 2000 rpm. I dont really notice any power loss but the noise is worrying me. I also remove the silencer ring 2 weeks ago, but like i said, this noise just stated happening today... . a friend who did the exhaust said that the donut clamp may have gotten loose on the exhaust??? ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS??

found the problem... it was the exhaust collar!!!!!

Thanks for posting the findings, I remember this happening to tdr member snowracer69 . It does make a hell of a noise
