I have the 2000rpm vibration like some others do. I also have a vibration when tork converter locks up somewhat like my 2000rpm vib but not as bad. I was pulling 4000lbs up small hill going 30mph and what sounded like the clutch in the tork converter slipped or something. The vibration got stronger and louder for about 15 seconds. A week later pulled same weight and started to go up hill put on the gas and rpms went up truck did not move floored gas pedal truck still did not move then I let off gas and punched it and it finally engaged. Since then the vibration is there all the time. I can feel the vibration get stronger as I start to go up an incline. Took it into dealer went for drive with Tech. he verified vibration and said it was not normal, he set cruise at 50mph and went up slight hill and could feel then took it out of tow haul rpms went up and vibration lessened. As of now they have no idea what it is, ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
 
At 22k mine is in for similiar complaints. They say they are replacing the overdrive unit along with the pump and the TC plates. DEaler has had it over a week now. Some of the parts are on national backorder and they are still waiting for a seal. I've rented a Hemi for the week which is fun, but I miss my truck.
 
My vibration disappeared completely and totally upon the installation of my Suncoast Transmission and Torque Converter. Smooth as silk since then.
 
Mine has a terrible viberation also, Ive had the tires re-balanced & rotated and the drive line done too, and the vib is still there and can can still be felt in the floor pans & in the seats, TC & Transmission, darn I should have known.

There is also a vib due to alinement my right front tire was cuping, when the dealer aline it was a little better. My tires were feathering or heal and toeing at 6000 miles I now have 1100miles and new tire's. I did take out my front drive shaft and not much difference but that was with the bad tires,alinement. I still think it's the transmission the vib changes with shifting.
 
As for the converter not locking up properly. Mine would shudder on lock-up. I pulled the batteries off to see if it would help with the cruise control surging. Well, i put the batteries back on. Put the key in the run position pushed pedal in slow and let off slow several times. cranked her up Still had the cruise surge. BUT the converter locks up right now. GO Figger
