Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Vibration

Ok. I'll best try to describe this. About a few months ago, I noticed a little play in the steering wheel. And then upon braking, a clunk sound. Now, a vibration has shown up at 40-70 mph. I can put the truck in neutral and the vibration is still present at these speeds. 5spd. 4x4. Any ideas? Thanks

U-joints?? Carrier Bearing? Out of balance driveshaft? These are the first places I would look, especially if the vibration is still there in neutral.
