Well i'm getting a strange vibration from the front. .

It hapen when i make a left hand turn and put preasure on the outer front tire. There is some vibration bearing type sound.

Now second time it hapens is exactly at 62. 5mph and it sounds exactly as if i am running on super knoby tires but it is a vibration and loud bearing type of sound.

I tought it could be rotors/pads, so i put brand new set of rotors and pads in, and its still hapening, in process i found one of my caliper boots is torn so i replaced that too.

Anyways. I am going to change the front axle oil and see if that helps. .

Do you guys have any idea what it could be?

And is there diagrams of the dana axles maybe by looking at it i could get a better idea what it could be. I have a 2000 4x4 automatic with 4. 10 gears.

Check the axle U-joints. Put the front end on axle stands. Turn the tires by hand with the steering straight ahead. Turn the steer hard over and turn the tires. If the axle U-joint is bad it will usually be ok straight ahead and be rough hard over.

It turns just fine by hand, there doesn't seem to be any play in wheel bearings. the tires have been just balanced and its still doing it.

it ended up being my rear drive shaft u joints... i needed to pur a lot of preasure on it before it would budge a little. When i took the u joints off i saw that one only was dried up a little and it was what was making my shake. Ended up replacing them with new one from Auto zone with greese inserts and it worked flawless after that, no more vibration.

Now i am noticing a little clunk clunk clunk when i'm on the brakes and its coming from the front. i think the front u joints are going bad as well. . so this weekend i will be replacing them all, winter is coming and might as well do them now instead of in -40 with -60 windchill weather. .

Man, I had the same noise coming from the front end only on hard left turns. It kept getting worse over time. I took the 5er out this past weekend and it got real bad, even taking off from a start going straight. I was almost certain it was the front u-joints then I thought it was the motor mount. I finally took a real good look, my exhaust was rubbing the frame, DOH! Its amazing what kind of noise that thing makes when it rubs the transmission crossmember.
