i have a slight vib going through my truck. i feel it more on my feet then in the steering wheel. i had new ball joints, track bar,tie rods etc put on the truck along with new tires. also my steering box is leaking. my question is can the steering box be bad and be causing the vibration. also my axle u joints are bad could this be causing the vibration? while going down the road at about 70 mph the vib pulses through the 4x4 lever. you can hear it but if you reach down and grab the lever you can feel it. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Bad axle u-joints can do that. They turn all the time. If it's worse on turns it's definitly the axle u-joints.

Mine does it also. Only at 70mph, when on throttle not at coast or decelerate. I only have 1900k could I have bad u-joints this soon?

How do you know your axle joints are bad? how many miles do you have on it? My sound sounds like the rear or close to it.

Axle u-joints last a long time so if you don't have much mileage on your truck they are probably ok. I suspected that I had a bad axle u-joint last year. I felt a little vibration on turns. I checked it by putting the front axle on axle stands. Then I rotated the wheels by hand. If the streering was straight ahead they were smooth. If I had the steering hard over there was a rough feeling in the passenger side u-joint. It was bad. If the u-joints are really bad they can make a vibration even going straight down the road. I would think that the vibration would be a lot worse on turns. The problem may not be axle u-joints, but they are easy to check.
